Welcome to LB Maths Tuition!

Hi! My name is Luke, and I am a fully qualified maths teacher based in Essex. I have been teaching and tutoring for over eight years and have worked with more than 70 tutees. I teach all key stages up to and including Further Maths A-Level. Currently, I work at a school in Essex, where I have been the second in the department for over five years.

Maths has always been one of my strongest subjects since a young age. However, when I was in Year 12, I faced a significant challenge and failed my Maths AS-Level, receiving a U grade. This setback led me to repeat a year of school, and eventually, I achieved an A grade in my Maths A-Level. This then led me to study for a mathematics degree at the University of Essex and complete my PGCE teaching degree. This experience has profoundly influenced my teaching and tutoring approach. Having personally struggled to grasp key mathematical concepts, I can empathize with my students and support them effectively through their challenges.

In addition to my passion for maths, I am an avid sports fan. I support Crystal Palace and hold qualifications as a Level 1 Table Tennis Coach and a Running Coach.
